![]() ![]() This interesting piece of information prompted me to do some research. Personally, I dont even pick up 4os CVs since they're so onerous to equip, and since they're 4os max, they're the easiest to cube to 4os (or Larzuk), so they're the most common (and cheapest) 4os polearm. Usually, though, you'll want the fastest polearm you can get so that your merc doesnt get interrupted as much during his Jab sequence, especially when chilled. There's few factors that will tip the scales far enough to make a difference one way or the other.if you use Andy's helm with IAS jewels in the helm and armor, or Treachery, then you want a slower, harder-hitting polearm, which makes a CV more valuable to someone with a high-level, well-equipped merc already. The runes for Insight are not rare at all, and neither are Hel runes for cleaning them out and rerolling.a good base polearm itself is the most valuable component of an Insight.Īll polearms will do about the same DPS on a naked merc. Or just sell it for a Lem or so (ladder), which you can then use to buy a 4os polearm. ![]() You can probably trade it for a lower Insight, if the Meditation is high, or trade it for a 4os polearm. ![]()
